Franchi Lorenzo
Dr. Lorenzo Franchi received his dental education at the Dental School of the University of Florence, Italy. He completed his PhD in Preventive Orthodontics at the Department of Orthodontics of the University of Florence in 1997. Dr. Franchi is presently Full Professor, Dean of the School of Dentistry, and Director of the Postgraduate Orthodontic Program at the University of Florence, Italy. He is also “Thomas M. Graber Visiting Scholar” at the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, U.S where he collaborates with Dr. J.A. McNamara since 1995. He has published more than 300 papers in the international literature and he has lectured at international meetings and symposia. He is currently Associate Editor of the European Journal of Orthodontics, Progress in Orthodontics, and Minerva Dental and Oral Science.
